- This webinar will explain the process of putting together an application for the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (Parent F31 -Diversity). The first half of the webinar will go through each part of the application, including eligibility, the research training plan and research strategy, sponsor and co-sponsor information, letters of reference and support, and the certification letter. The second half of the webinar will be allotted for a question and answer session with attendees.

- Broadening the Representation of Academic Investigators in NeuroScience (BRAINS) is a University of Washington-based program designed to accelerate and improve the career advancement of neuroscience postdoctoral scholars and assistant professors from underrepresented groups including certain race, ethnicity, and disability statuses groups.
- The NIH Blueprint Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience Award
- The purpose of the NIH Blueprint Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience (D-SPAN) Award is to support a defined pathway across career stages for outstanding graduate students who are from diverse backgrounds underrepresented in neuroscience research. This two-phase award will facilitate completion of the doctoral dissertation and transition of talented graduate students to strong neuroscience research postdoctoral positions, and will provide career development opportunities relevant to their long-term career goal of becoming independent neuroscience researchers.

- OHSU Fellowship for Diversity in Research (OFDIR)
- "The OHSU Fellowship for Diversity and Inclusion in Research Program is a competitive program whose goal is to increase the diversity of the community of scholars devoted to academic scientific research at OHSU. We seek to attract promising researchers and educators from different backgrounds, races, ethnic groups, and other diverse populations whose life experience, research experience and employment background will contribute significantly to the academic mission of OHSU. Fellowships are available for postdoctoral training and junior faculty research in all scientific areas of study at OHSU. Priority for fellowships will be given to individuals from historically underrepresented populations, U.S. citizens and/or permanent residents, and where there might be a research priority need. Successful candidates will receive mentored scholarly and research training as well as grant writing assistance to prepare them for a faculty position in a major university."
